Is there such a thing as "bad good works"? Pastor Brian says yes: "good works" that were done on earth by Jesus' believers for selfish, impure motives, and not for the glory of God. Even though it will NOT be a judgment for sin, for believers, the Judgment Seat of Christ (which will happen soon after the rapture) will burn up the bad good works, classified as "wood, hay and straw" in 1 Corinthians chapter 3. Only those "good works" that were truly done for Jesus will be rewarded by Him on that day.
