The men listed in chapter 5 of Genesis lived extraordinarily long lives (by the typical lifespan of post-flood humans like us); for example, Noah lived 950 years and Methuselah lived to the ripe old age of 969. According to Pastor Brian Larson, the body in ideal conditions was designed to live a thousand years. Even so, of those listed in Genesis, they all died! The only solution to this human condition of ours is Jesus!
